Dover Christ Church Academy opened in September 2010 when it replaced Archers Court Maths and Computing College.
It’s backed by the Dover Grammar schools, Canterbury Christ Church University as well as the Local Education Authority (Kent).
In 2014, it was announced that Dover Christ church Academy would undergo a £11.9 million refurbishment, with our team of education construction specialists used to deliver it.

Our team was appointed for their track-record in:

Modern facilities
The new extension provides specialist and vocational
teaching spaces including science laboratories, hair, beauty, textiles and
catering. We also extended the sports hall with remodelled dance and fitness
suites, and new changing room facilities. We retained the central block of the
academy’s existing buildings, with remodelling and refurbishment providing a new
main hall and dining area.
Included is an extended sports hall with remodelled dance and fitness suites, and new changing room facilities.
Head teacher, Samantha Williamson said:
“The academy today is a very important place, staff here at the academy share my belief in the students. Together we can achieve a dramatic rise in standards.”
Instant success!
After completion, the academy celebrated its “best ever
outcomes” for students on the government’s key measure of five good GCSE passes
including maths and English.
Iain Smith, director of finance and operations at the academy:
“This new build will help Dover Christ Church Academy achieve its ambition to provide first class education to its pupils in the local community.”
The academy aims to achieve an outstanding Ofsted report on
its next inspection.
Chairman of DDC, Sue Nicholas:
“This provides our young people of the Dover district with an educational facility of excellence, what a wonderful investment this is going to be.”
